NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 premiere will resolve Hidoko mystery
Speaking via TVLine, series executive producer R. Scott Gemmill has confirmed that there are plans for the show to address what happened to Andrea Bourdeaux’s character in the up coming premiere episode. He also touched on the fact that this character ended up being so much more, and also so much more popular, than anyone first imagined her being:
“Andrea came into read for a small part, I think for a bar girl, and I just thought she was so interesting that we put her into this different role … Andrea comes from a military background, so she had this bearing, and a really great look, so we built this character around her and used her a lot.”

While the team in Mexico thought they had stumbled upon what may have been Harley’s bones, we still have a hard time believing that to be the case for sure. This is a character who does have a rather nice use with the remainder of the team, though we also know that there are a lot of characters on NCIS: Los Angeles as it is. There are a lot of people who can be thrown into every single episode!
Ultimately, we do think that Harley as a character is a great example of keeping an open mind with newcomers. While we weren’t necessarily predisposed to liking the character coming on board given how adversarial Shay Mosley was — and her own relationship to her — she quickly proved to be both valuable and independent with her thinking.

NO NO NO do not want her back. She took screen time away from original characters. The chareacters were not good fit and I disagree about chemistry. THere was none. Many fans stopped watching because of both Hidoko and Moseley the ratings proved that.

Loved Hidoko’s character and thought she had great chemistry with the team. Do she and Mosley have to be a package deal??
