Is Animal Kingdom new tonight on TNT? Season 4 filming talk and more
Unfortunately, you won’t be seeing J, Pope, or anyone else in the near future. There is no new episode airing on the network tonight, and there is not going to be any more episodes for quite some time. While the series is renewed for another season, more than likely it will not premiere until the summer of 2019. There is no reason for the network to premiere the show before then given that the ratings have been great for it as a summer series over the past few weeks. Why change something when it is working really well as it is?

It’s also going to be harder for the series to premiere earlier than this just because of the fact that production often doesn’t start until the new year — filming typically takes place throughout the winter and spring before they premiere on TNT in the late spring / early summer. The premiere date for the new season will probably come at some point in the spring, and before that we imagine that we’re going to have a chance to meet some more new faces in the world of the show. Season 3 brought us Denis Leary, and we certainly would not be shocked if another familiar face turns up in a new role. This is a way in order to keep some fresh faces and also continue to stir the pot with the series itself.
