NCIS season 16 premiere photos: Guest stars and lava lamps
At the center of the premiere is going to be the search for one Leon Vance, a character who was captured at the end of the episode. We know that some team members could find themselves in some very unusual places in order to find him … and they may even be surrounded by lava lamps.

While it’s certainly possible the photo above is not connected to the Vance storyline, it’s still fairly interesting and a very different color palette than we’ve gotten used to seeing on NCIS over the years. (For those wondering, the woman in the picture is Emma Thatcher, played by Sharp Objects actress Lauren September. There isn’t any other information when it comes to the character at the moment.)
We’ve got one more photo of some of these characters below, but then also another one at the morgue featuring a dead body (something that many fans of NCIS should be rather used to seeing at the moment) and then another guest star in Jessica Gardner. She is playing the role of Olivia Kahn and this is her first appearance on the series. Some of her other credits include GLOW, Modern Family, and Jane the Virgin.
These photos hopefully start to paint the picture of what is going up on the series, but the real mystery is probably not going to be revealed until September. Along the way, we do think that CBS will release at least one more promo with a few more teases all about just what you can expect to see!
