Lucifer season 4 spoilers: Outlander’s Graham McTavish set to play priest

There is now yet another outstanding reason to be excited about Lucifer season 4 — an Outlander actor is on board!

According to a new report from TVLine, Graham McTavish (who is also a major part of Preacher at the moment) is now set to come on board the Netflix series in a recurring capacity as Father Kinley. This is a man described as kind and is extremely beloved by all who know him. He will protect the people who are close to him at all costs, and while all of these are probably great traits for any priest in the real world, it could turn out rather terribly for Lucifer. Devils and priests typically don’t get along all that well.

Is it possible that Kinley becomes a Big Bad for Lucifer? In theory, sure, but this is one of those situations where we are still far too early before we can make any proclamations one way or another. The only thing that we feel decidedly confident about right now is that this is going to be a great addition to the show, especially since McTavish is one of those people who can bring a lot of different emotions to a character — he can be either a loyal ally or a fierce adversary, depending on whatever is asked of him.

The most unfortunate thing is just having to wait so long in order to see him, given that the new season of the series is set to premiere at some point in 2019, most likely. As more news surfaces you can be assured that we will be here with you every step of the way.
