Lucifer season 4: Fun via Tom Ellis, Aimee Garcia, and … Carl’s Jr.?
If you look below, you can see a new teaser featuring Tom Ellis and Aimee Garcia promising fans in Brazil that there are great things ahead and that the long wait for more of the series is going to prove to be worth it. We’ve got a good feeling that they are right! Lucifer season 4 is likely not premiering until the new year, but we know that filming is happening for the next few months. To go along with that, Inbar Lavi was also recently cast in the role of Eve, who just so happens to have a history with a certain Lucifer Morningstar.
One of the best parts of this video is mostly seeing Ellis and Garcia work to send a message to many of their Brazilian fans who are out there — who were certainly an integral part in ensuring that the show came back.
Now, we turn to something that we certainly didn’t expect to see online today — a Lucifer / Carl’s Jr. crossover! Yet, it does kind of make sense. The burger chain (a favorite out here on the West Coast) got involved in the #SaveLucifer effort because 1) they have a fun social-media team and 2) they also have a burger called El Diablo. Basically, this just made sense. It’s probably the funniest pairing of a quick-service restaurant and a television show since Subway became a big part of the efforts to keep Chuck on the air.
There’s no word as to whether or not Carl’s Jr. actually shows up on Lucifer itself, but they did stop by the set today to deliver burgers to the cast and crew. Consider the photo below to be proof. Good on the burger joint (and on the Lucifer cast) for having a little bit of fun.
