Poldark video: Jack Farthing, Heida Reed, more talk character flaws
If you take a look below, you can see Jack Farthing, Heida Reed, Christian Brassington, and more describe what are some of their characters’ biggest character flaws. When it comes to some of them, it’s fairly obvious: For example, Ossie Whitworth as a character is vile, disgusting, and an egomaniac. Meanwhile, Farthing’s George Warleggan is a man consumed by his own jealousy. However, some other ones are not as obvious — we really think, for example, that Heida does a fantastic job describing what the internal flaws are for Elizabeth.
For those of you who haven’t seen season 4, all of the actors featured in this video have enormous roles to play in the upcoming season. This is an action-packed, dramatic season that really puts some of these characters through hell. There are some victories for many characters, but also plenty of setbacks. In general, this is the most public and urban season of the series to date, and what that really means when it comes to character flaws is that you’re effectively giving yourself more of a platform for some of these flaws to be explored. This season is all about putting your problems under a microscope and seeing if there is a way that they can be fixed. Of course, it’s impossible for some characters given that they have to want to change in order for that to really be possible.
