9-1-1 season 2 poster poses a very simple question

911 season 2

Are you ready for 9-1-1 season 2 to be here on Fox? The series is returning on September 23 with a two-hour premiere, and all indications suggest that it’s going to be epic. How can it not be with some of the hype that is out there about it? The premiere episode could feature an earthquake at the center of the action and beyond that, there’s a good chance that you’re going to see some new relationship conflicts and of course cases that test all of the first responders. We absolutely saw some creative ones over the course of season 1.

We don’t want to get too ahead of ourselves here, though, mostly because the #1 focus of this particular article is the poster (see below), shared via series regular Oliver Stark. This gives you a good sense as to how the series is being marketed, and also how Athena looks to be front and center for everything right now. If you love Angela Bassett, there’s a good chance that you’re going to love the focus being on her entering the season. Also, this poster is another reminder that Jennifer Love Hewitt is a big part of the season as the new call center operator.

Moving into 9-1-1 season 2, it is certainly rather clear that expectations are through the roof. While the first season was great, one of the things that it had going for it was a relative lack of expectations. Nobody knew exactly what to expect from it given that the series hadn’t really been on the air. Now, we do think that more people have had an opportunity to actually experience the show and it’s a hit. The expectations are there, and with that the struggle now becomes trying to find a way in order to properly meet them. We’ll see what this fall brings!
