Game of Thrones season 8 star promises wide array of emotions

Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones season 8 is going to premiere in the first half of 2019, and based on some more quotes that are out there from the cast, it’s going to be emotional. Not only are we gearing up for a season that is going to get your blood pumping, but it’s also going to be one that potentially makes you cry. It’s hard to really know how you could want something more from a show that has carried you this far with everything from brutality to political intrigue. We also have many of our heroes (or antiheroes) now in the midst of one of the biggest underdog stories possible, as they have to figure out precisely how to handle a massive White Walker threat that is coming at them.

Nathalie Emmanuel is one of the people who have been on the show for a rather long time, and moving into the final season, we have to think that Missandei is going to have a role in what’s coming. For now, she’s willing to at least give us the following tease via the Hindustan Times:

“I think what we can expect from the final season of GoT is just a real push … Like in the last couple of seasons, we have seen the pace of the show increase with the stakes getting higher and higher. There are so many storylines that have to come to conclusion. We have to play them out, so the pace of the show is continuing on that sense.

“There are so many characters and stories that haven’t found their conclusion. So, this season is going to be incredibly satisfying for people. It is going to be incredibly exciting and heartbreaking. I feel like people will have their mind blown when they watch the final one.”

The big takeaway that we get from reading something like this is simply that we’re going to be somewhat surprised with whatever we end up seeing at the end of the story. For example, maybe some characters survive, but not the ones that we expect.
