Arrow season 7: Stephen Amell hints at new superhero suit
In this aforementioned post (see below), Amell comments that “watching someone try on a superhero suit for the first time never gets old.” The easy assumption here is that he is talking about Rose, given that she is the only person really affiliated with Arrow right now who would be trying on a new costume — pending some sort of surprise, which is certainly possible.
While Rose wouldn’t be filming her role in the crossover just yet (Arrow season 7 isn’t near that point in the season, unless they are really filming out of order), it makes sense that she would do her costume fitting and first photos long before that — these are images that The CW and Warner Bros. TV would put out ahead of time in order to promote the character, who the network has some rather enormous plans for beyond the just the crossover later this year. There are plans for a solo series themed around the character, one that could premiere at some point in 2019. Caroline Dries of The Vampire Diaries fame is currently set to be the executive producer.
Once we get some more news when it comes to Batwoman, of course we’ll let you know — we just hope that it’s something a little more fun and positive than Rose deleted her official Twitter account after dealing with the backlash that came as a result of her casting.
Arrow season 7 proper is going to be premiering on The CW come October; beyond Oliver starting out the season in prison, the series is keeping things very hush-hush this year.
