Ballers season 4 episode 2 preview: Taking the world by storm has challenges

As we’re looking towards Ballers season 4 episode 2 airing on HBO next week, we like to think that there are many different things to be excited about. You’ve got, for starters, Spencer pushing himself to try to become an industry titan — yet, when that happens, you have to know that there are people who are going to be coming for your head. We have to hope that he is a little bit more prepared for it this season, thanks in part to everything that he has been through and also where he is now. This is a season about bridging the gap more between sports and entertainment and about much more than just trying to stay afloat.

As for some other stories that are coming up beyond Spencer, let’s just say that trust is going to be at the center of the story.

Let’s just hope that over the course of this episode, we really get a chance to see the story progress in some interesting directions … and also allow us to get know some of these characters better amidst their new circumstances. A big part of what makes a show like this better as we get further into its run is that there are more opportunities to really know if characters are changing or not after everything that they’ve been through together. This is going to be a big episode coming up, as this could be one that sets the stage for the rest of the season.
