Outlander season 4 video: Go behind the scenes with John Bell

John Bell

Leading up to the premiere of Outlander season 4 this November, why not have a little bit more fun behind the scenes? After all, that is what this particular article is all about!

The new video below comes courtesy of the show’s official Twitter page, and it features none other than John Bell (Young Ian Murray) taking you on a various tour of a few different places in what is called the unit base. This is where many of the actor trailers are, and Bell has a little bit of fun talking about his in relationship to Sam Heughan’s. He also tries to sneak into Caitriona Balfe’s before determining that there is something too spoilery going on inside.

This tease is, effectively, just another little preview that Starz is putting out there in order to build up even more anticipation for the start of season 4 down the road. They recognize, clearly, that this is one of the quietest periods of the hiatus, given that the teaser is out there, but it is still too far before the premiere date for them to share a longer trailer. Luckily, we’ve got this to smile about today and moving into next weekend, there is the official convention going down in New Jersey. You can read a little bit more about it over at the link here — while we don’t think there are going to be spoilers all over the place with the convention, hopefully there are still going to be opportunities to learn a thing or two more about what lies ahead. If nothing else, we all but guarantee that there are going to be many a fun moment given that this is the sort of thing that we’ve come to expect, time and time again, from various Outlander conventions.

Hopefully, Starz has even more of these little behind-the-scenes teases banked so that once a week or so, we have a chance to dive in and discuss them. It’s a way to keep the fandom constantly engaged, and that is one of the best things that Starz can do save for magically moving the premiere date up (which really isn’t going to happen).
