Wynonna Earp season 3 episode 3 video: A time of mourning
Yet, when you are a part of the Purgatory family, mourning is something that is a little bit unorthodox — and no two people handle it the same exact way. This brings us to the sneak peek below from Friday’s new episode, which features Wynonna, Waverly, and everyone else gathered to pay some of their respects … or try to figure out how best to do so. This is a difficult, trying thing to do, especially when you consider that there is still a vicious killer out there.
One thing that we do know here is that sandwiches, apparently, are a part of the Earp grieving process.
What we see throughout this episode is meant to feel different, largely because it is not something that we’ve seen the core group go through before. Through the first two seasons, we saw them manage to work themselves out of any bind, even the ones that felt borderline impossible. They did that with creativity and a little bit of humor. This is what makes losing Dolls so different. It accelerates the stakes of the mission and forces everyone to start to focus in a little bit more. No matter what happens from here, our hope is that Dolls and his contributions are going to be very much a part of the story to come. Dead does not mean forgotten — not in life, and hopefully this is a sentiment that is echoed within the Wynonna Earp universe, as well.
