The Originals series finale: Joseph Morgan’s goodbye; a Klaroline scene
If you look below, you can see Morgan’s final message via Twitter about playing Klaus and the impact that it had on his life. He recognizes that playing this part transformed his entire career. It gave him an opportunity to be able to play a major role on first The Vampire Diaries before eventually getting a show of his own. Five years is a great run for a show these days and while we don’t exactly expect him to turn up on Legacies down the road, the impact of Klaus will always be there with him.
The bummer right now is that his Gone Baby Gone series didn’t get picked up, since we could’ve been seeing him back on TV sooner rather than later. Hopefully, he does land a new role over the next few months.

Deleted Klaroline scene – Given that there was some buzz about the scene before the episode even aired, we’re sure that there were a number of people disappointed that this scene didn’t air. Yet, you can check it out below!
We do understand on some level why the scene was cut for time concerns, as it didn’t necessarily connect to the main story of the episode. Yet, why couldn’t The CW have just added a couple of minutes to the run time for this? This was a beautiful, touching scene that was about Klaus talking about his immortality and the way in which he has come to view his life. This was an important moment for him as he thought about his impending death and a number of the important moments that he had a chance to witness along the way.
At the end, Caroline encourages Klaus to go get a drink with her, and that leads into some of the events that you saw between the two on the actual episode.
