Power season 5 episode 6 preview: Is Ghost actually changing?

Power season 5

Is Ghost really going to try to be better? Moving into Power season 5 episode 6, that’s a question you should ask. This is a guy who has said in the past that he is trying to turn over a new leaf; yet, every time he claims that he wants that to happen, something happens to stop it. The problem with Ghost, and it’s a problem that he probably realizes at this point, is that he can’t just turn off the past. He can get better but that stuff stays there. He can’t avoid it and in some ways, all of that could lead to an eventual demise.

Below, the Power season 5 episode 6 synopsis offers up a little more insight when it comes to what lies ahead:

The audit of Truth is something that is coming courtesy of the end of the episode; after all, the closing minutes of the episode tonight brought you Teresi giving the information to John Mok and company about Tommy laundering money through Ghost’s club. This is one of the first times that the authorities have had to really take Ghost’s business down a peg; don’t you think that they are going to jump on that a little bit?

In getting back to Ghost’s hope to rediscover himself, much of that stems from the end of tonight’s episode, where he realized that he needed to be better in order to make sure Raina’s death meant something. It wasn’t about getting his name on the Queens project. Instead, it was about him needing to figure out how he could actually honor her.
