Claws season 2 episode 9 preview: Desna’s wedding is almost here
What is different now about Desna’s wedding as opposed to a few weeks ago is that she now knows precisely where all of the cards are on the table. She’s not going into this ceremony completely unaware of anything. She knows what she’s being asked to do and also how Zlata may now plan to kill Gregory. She realizes that he betrayed her, and also that this may be one of the few ways for her to eventually get herself out of the sticky situation that she’s in.
Below, the Claws season 2 episode 9 synopsis offers up some more information as to what’s coming:
As Desna (Niecy Nash) plans for a big day, she realizes she can play a two-faced #bossbitch better than the rest of them. Meanwhile, after getting a disturbing message from Marnie, a reeling Polly (Carrie Preston) gets an unexpected visit from her long-lost sister that sends her spinning out of control. In the meantime, Uncle Daddy (Dean Norris) and Roller (Jack Kesy) join forces with their Dixie Mafia brethren and make a plan to take out the Russian and Haitian mafias for good.
Ultimately, what’s so exciting as we enter Claws in one week’s time is that we’re gearing up for there to be some chaos all across the board. It’s very well possible that Uncle Daddy and Roller screw things up for Desna without even trying to. They’re operating with what they think is their own best interest; meanwhile, we’re seeing Desna and Zlata doing the same exact thing. Everything is starting to come to a head and whatever drama we see here is likely to continue into whatever is left this season.
