Claws season 2 episode 8 video: A mugshot and a possible traitor
At the end of this past episode, we saw Niecy Nash’s character get arrested in one of the most surprising moments of the entire season. She was about to have a rare chance to relax, and now she’s facing a situation in which she doesn’t know who to trust. It’s clear that there is a traitor in the midst of her inner circle and better understanding that is going to be one big part of this upcoming episode.
Yet, at the same time it’s also very much clear that finding said traitor is just the tip of the iceberg for some of Desna’s problems at the moment. She also has to worry still about Zlata’s reign of terror and the conspiring that is going on between her and Gregory. She’s really at a precipice right now of a number of different terrible things happening to her at just about every moment. We’ve already said this once, but there was a period of time on this past episode where we started to seriously think that someone was going to kill Dean. So long as Zlata is in play, and also so long as Uncle Daddy is going to continue to be desperate to prove himself, we have a feeling that we’re going to be on edge.
Basically, that means that we’re likely going to be experiencing some various stages of panic for the remainder of the season. We don’t exactly think at this point in the run that anything on Claws is going to suddenly become easier for anyone.
