Shades of Blue series finale teases: How will Harlee’s story end?

The Shades of Blue series finale is going to be coming up on NBC Sunday, August 19 and with that we just hope you’re prepared for an emotional goodbye. This episode is going to feature Harlee Santos doing everything that she can to protect her future after everything that she’s gone through — and as you likely know at this point, it’s quite a lengthy list. She’s been forced to take on everyone from Stahl to members of  Intelligence, and because of some of her actions not everyone in the NYPD is altogether willing to support her. This has been a season of struggle for the character, but we continue to hope that there is a way in which this story can end on a hopeful note.

Going into the series finale, the good news is that it seems as though the show’s producers were prepared for this in advance. Because of that, they could come up with a suitable ending for the character that hopefully fans are going to be happy with.

08/19/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Sunday) : Harlee faces a police commission as Wozniak and the crew scramble to help her from the outside.

Obviously, NBC is not going to be altogether willing to give a lot away about this episode in advance, largely because they really don’t have any reason to do so. They’ve already got the attention of their viewers and many probably have a good sense going into this finale as to what’s coming: A culmination of a story that has been in the works for a rather long time. We’ve been building to a place in which we could get some sort of closure on these characters and we hope that, on the other side of this story, Harlee doesn’t find herself constantly questioned and can conquer some of her demons.
