Shades of Blue season 3 episode 7 preview: Is Harlee getting framed?

Moving into Shades of Blue season 3 episode 7, there is one thing that shouldn’t shock you at all: Harlee potentially getting framed. Look at things in this way: She’s already crossed the “blue line” in order to go after intelligence, and as we’ve seen on this show, that has enormous consequences. Sometimes doing what feels like the right thing can have enormous backlash and as this season progresses, Harlee is going to have to deal with that. Unfortunately, the same goes for those close to her. Take, for example, Woz, who fought for her in order to make sure Bennett was taken down. He’s going to have some of his own problems stemming from that on “Straight Through the Heart” next week.

Yep, that’s not a whole lot of information to go on, but just how much did you really expect? With a show like Shades of Blue the network is not altogether inclined to give a whole lot of information away in advance, mostly because they have no real reason to do so. Also, it’s so serialized at this point that you don’t want to give something big away that ruins the remainder of the season.

Granted, what remains super-interesting about season 3 in general is that we are acutely aware as to where the story is going, but there is still some good drama that comes via getting from point A to point B. Eventually, we’re going to get back to that moment we saw with Harlee in court. It’s just a matter of when plus what happens on the other side of it.
