Floribama Shore season 2 episode 4 preview: Arrest aftermath; a bikini contest
Well, we do know for sure that Candace is sticking around judging from the fact that she was featured in the promo for next week, debating as to whether or not she wanted to take part in something super-ridiculous: A bikini contest. Yep, we’re going from someone getting arrested to a bikini contest within the span of just one week. It’s still not clear as to what’s going to be happening with Kirk, but clearly the show is going on and we hope that means that everything is going to pan out for him.
What we’re seeing with Floribama Shore more so than anything else is a combustible environment that is brought on by a number of different factors, and what does make season 2 interesting is that these are people trying to also now cope with a little bit of fame. They now recognize that what they’re saying and doing have significantly more consequences than they may have been back when filming season 1, and we imagine that this is going to influence many of their actions coming up the rest of the way much like it did on Jersey Shore.
In the end, we do realize that all of this may be MTV recognizing that with a show like Floribama Shore, they have to continue to cater to multiple different audiences. They need to be able to touch on serious subjects, but at the same time, clearly they don’t want to deviate too much from some of the over-the-top party content that they’ve delivered to date.
