Succession episode 9 preview: Eastnor Castle and wedding prep

Want to know what is coming up on Succession episode 9? Given that we are nearing the end of the season, it probably will get all the more intense!

From one vantage point, it could be romantic given that we’re gearing up for a wedding … though TV nuptials hardly go according to plan. One of the biggest things that we are expecting within this particular ceremony is that we’re going to have a chance to see many different characters all in a single place. That works so well for a show like this since you’re throwing together different personalities and perspectives into a singular place and, of course, not everyone is going to get along. Not only that, but there could also end up being some major secrets that get revealed.

Below, the Succession episode 9 synopsis offers up a little more information as to what you can see, and some of the drama that could unfold:

The Roys assemble at Eastnor Castle in England to prepare for Shiv and Tom’s wedding. Meanwhile, the children reunite with their mother, Caroline, who is every bit as acerbic as Logan; and as guests mingle and clash, Kendall learns from Stewy and Sandy that their plot for a hostile takeover of Waystar has been fast-tracked in order to catch Logan off-guard.

For those who do not know, Eastnor Castle is a real place located not too far from Gloucester and also Wales; hopefully, there will be some beautiful shots to go along with that. We don’t get the sense that filming took place there for an extended period of time, but the cast and crew were able to do at least a little bit of work on location. Hooray for authenticity!

All in all, let’s hope that this is one of the most memorable TV weddings that is out there … and also one of the most chaotic in turn, since we’d want nothing else from an HBO show.
