Poldark season 4 episode 7 expectations: Ross, Demelza in London
There are certainly a wide array of things that you’re going to get a chance to see within this episode, but one of the biggest ones is an opportunity to just see and understand precisely how Demelza enjoys London. This is something we haven’t seen this season so far save for a small moment at the end of this past week; with that, there’s a chance for a little bit of fun — it’s a fish out of water story in some ways, though socially she is very well equipped to be able to take on whatever awaits her in the city. This is going to be an exciting, fun hour of television because you’re going to have so many characters immersed all at the same time in the city. This may actually be the most urban episode of Poldark to date!
So what can you expect specifically? Basically, Adderley is going to get under Ross’ skin thanks in part to some of his behavior around Demelza. We know that Ross isn’t exactly entering this episode feeling all that great about the man in the first place, and much of the drama between these two could culminate in a duel. This is something that should be very much fun to watch, even if it’s also going to be potentially dangerous for Ross.
As for what you can see for some of the other characters on the show, George and Elizabeth are going to find all sorts of drama within their own marriage, and much of it could come courtesy of an unlikely source in Geoffrey Charles. Right when they are starting to truly get along (and Elizabeth is expecting another baby), chaos is going to erupt. That’s entertaining for us, but also very much bad for George and Elizabeth. It could be a distraction, though, from whatever devious plots George may have been making.
Remember, Poldark season 4 episode 7 will lead into the finale, which has the challenge of wrapping up most of these stories (at least to some expect) while leading into the fifth and potentially final season for the show.
