Grey’s Anatomy season 15: What’s happening behind the scenes?

Grey's Anatomy season 14

For those of you who are curious as to what’s going down right now with Grey’s Anatomy season 15, we’re happy to offer up an update. While filming has not begun just yet, there are some things transpiring behind the scenes!

For some more evidence of this very thing, take a look at the recent tweet below via the show’s official prop department. Early this week, some prep started for filming, which will be happening soon leading up to the show’s September premiere. There’s already been a lot of work done behind the scenes when it comes to writing and preparing things; at this point, we like to think that Grey’s Anatomy is a well-oiled machine. There are so many crew members who probably are experts in their field and figuring out how to make the most of their time.

Basically, the final objective here is to make it so that when the cast does come to work, everything is pretty much set up so that they can film their scenes as efficiently as possible. There’s a lot to get to, given that there are once more 24 episodes coming up over the course of the 2018-19 season. There are also some big cliffhangers that still need to be unraveled, including Teddy’s big pregnancy reveal and what’s happening next with Jo and Alex after their wedding / Jo’s opportunity elsewhere.

Also, we imagine that there are going to be some new characters we end up seeing. Given that there were three regulars we lost over season 14 in Martin Henderson, Jessica Capshaw, and Sarah Drew, we imagine that someone else could join Kim Raver, who already was added as a regular earlier this summer.
