Reverie episode 8 preview: Something more than lost love
Instead, this upcoming episode is going to give you a chance to see a love story courtesy of a reverie itself. This is one that, on the surface, may have a fairly simple meaning behind it. Yet, the further that we go in diving into this episode, the more complicated the story could become. Consider this one of those episodes that is fairly hard to tease in advance, largely due to the fact that there could be some surprise twist midway through that you wouldn’t see coming ahead of time.
Below, the Reverie episode 8 synopsis offers up some more news when it comes to what lies ahead:
Romance is in the air when Mara (Sarah Shahi) must track down an elderly woman attempting to relive her lost love, but as Mara dives deeper into her Reverie she realizes she may have a greater mission on her mind. Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Kathryn Morris and Jessica Lu also star.
What do we hope that we’re going to see coming up? Beyond what’s mentioned in the synopsis, we’re very much interested in getting a chance to learn about some supporting characters and really hope that we get to. For example, it feels like Alexis is still holding onto a great deal of trauma and, beyond that, we’re hoping that there’s a chance to explore that. We also do want to get a deeper understanding of what Paul wants out of his life now … though it doesn’t seem as though the Paul/Mara romance is going to happen like we, at one point, wanted it to.
