Power season 5 episode 2 spoilers: How much danger is Angela in?

As we prepare to dive into Power season 5 episode 2 airing on Starz this weekend, just how much danger are we going to see for a certain character in Angela? She was only recently given the promotion to lead up Criminal; yet, her work within the Ray Ray investigation / her recent act deleting files may be putting her within a certain degree of jeopardy. We already know that Internal Affairs is starting to look at her and, in the end, this may only be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to some of her trouble.

The St. Patrick family grieves Raina while the AUSA’s office discusses taking down Ghost and ending Angela’s career; Councilman Tate exploits Raina’s death ; Dre maintains order within his organization.

This episode will be important for every character across the board but the simple question that we have at present is this — how long can some of these people keep this up? For example, how long can Tate continue to make Raina’s death into some sort of platform for himself and his community? This is the sort of thing that over time, people start to take notice of when they feel as though you are being a little bit more exploitative. Meanwhile, when it comes to Dre, we wonder how long he can really protect himself within his organization given that he has to know that there are a good many people starting to target him. This is a guy who has put himself out there to a great degree and while it may be impressive that he has come through the ranks, there are ramifications to this that he’s going to have to deal with.

Suffice it to say, many of these said ramifications are going to be ugly — even if he survives. We don’t exactly think Ghost, Kanan, and Tommy are going to give up some of their own pursuits because the first plan to take the guy down didn’t quite work.
