Power season 5 episode 2 sneak peek: Tommy faces a dilemma
In the sneak peek below (via Entertainment Weekly), you can see Tony Teresi return as he and Joseph Sikora’s characters have a conversation. Basically, Tony is doing everything that he can to keep Tommy from speaking out about who his father is; beyond just that, there’s also some tension regarding a party, some “invitations,” and Tommy having to prepare for punishment on the other side of it. Tony is upset about the fact that Tommy is operating heavily without him, which really should not be altogether surprising when you consider the fact that Tony only recently surfaced on the series. How much of a connection can the guy really expect with his son from his present locations?
Ultimately, right now Tommy’s priority can’t be his dad for many different reasons, including the fact that he’s got a lot going on right now with Ghost and Kanan and his priorities are scattered all over the wind. You also have to wonder just what’s going to come on the other side of the mission with Dre, largely due to the fact that this is one of the only unifying factors that everyone seems to really have. When you strip that away, just what else is left for everyone? Given that there’s no real sense of unity anymore, there is a reasonably good chance that everything is going to slip into anarchy instead.
