RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 premiere date hopes on VH1
Let’s kick things off here with a clear reminder that there is, in fact, a season 11 coming up in the future. This is something that clearly, the network wanted to do so that there wasn’t any reason to worry … not that we would be. RuPaul’s Drag Race has been a sensation over the past several years, even back when it aired on Logo prior to the show premiering on VH1. The network move does give them a larger total viewership, and we’re all about that. This is a fun, celebratory show that still has the perfect amount of drama.
As for when we expect it to premiere, you are going to have to wait for a while. There does tend to be a new season of Drag Race a year and we certainly don’t expect that to change. More than likely, we’re going to see season 11 premiere at some point within the first few episodes of the year and then run once more into the summer. This is a series with an established pattern that works — why change it?
If you do want some more drag while you wait, there is a good chance that we’ll see a season 4 of Drag Race All Stars in the interim. That’s a chance to see some familiar queens battling it out for the title! We don’t know if the show can turn this long-term into an annual affair, but for now, there’s enough past contestants in order to do this and have it be exciting. Also, there’s clearly enough of a demand for it to be very much worthwhile.
