Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 episode 7: Garcia’s next step

As we get ourselves prepared to see Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 episode 7 on Paramount+, could a rift destroy the BAU? All of a sudden, there may be more concerns than what we tend to see within what is such a cohesive and loving team.

If you watched the end of episode 6, you know very-well some of what we are talking about already. Garcia confessed to the group that she is the person responsible for a secret testimony regarding Voit’s mental state, the very thing that helped him secure life in prison rather than the death penalty. This is something that the BAU did not even know about seemingly until Brian brought it up — to them (and especially Rossi), keeping the secret may be as damaging as anything else.

Ultimately, the fallout could last for at least the first part of the episode, but do we think that everyone can get past this? Certainly, especially because the BAU has been together for so long and through that, they have really learned how to navigate tough times when the going gets tough. However, at the same time they do have some other issues to figure out, especially when it comes to trying to figure out Voit’s own endgames. He is working in some ways independently from the FBI.

There are only a handful of episodes left this season; by virtue of that, we tend to think the story will only get more crazy as time goes by. This testimony is likely not the only shocker we are going to have before the finale and there, you also have a chance of another jaw-dropper in itself.
