Jersey Shore Family Vacation finale: Pauly D’s ‘stalker’ Vanessa returns
In the sneak peek below, you do get a little tease as to Vanessa’s return, which comes in the midst of Pauly doing a little bit of DJ work. There is a flashback in here to some of the things that Pauly has said about her in the past, but after listening to him here, it’s also fairly clear that his sentiment has changed a little bit towards her now versus what it was so many years ago. Rather than being creeped out by Vanessa, he actually celebrates her, lets her have a moment in front of the crowd, and gives her a hug. This, of course, leads to the other cast members joking that the right person for Pauly may have been there in front of him all along.
The story of Vanessa herself is an interesting one, given that there was a time back during the original run of the series that she was accepting bookings for appearances and other things — basically, a so-called stalker of a reality TV star can be considered a star in her own right. She also had some notoriety for finding a way to get photos of a wide array of celebrities, so it’s somewhat a misnomer to say that she strictly follows Pauly around and is only interested in him. It feels more like she’s someone who just likes famous people and just so happened to stumble into a little bit of fame because of her associated with this particular person. Consider it being in the right place, at the right time.
