Code Black season 3 episode 10 promo; more ratings discussions
In terms of hospital drama, it’s pretty darn clear that this episode is going to be a challenge for some of the doctors. How could it not be? Emotionally, we also know that it’s going to be a powerful one just based on where some of the stories are at present. Ethan is just coming off of effectively being disowned by his father, and we wouldn’t be shocked if he is just in a mood where he is pushing almost everyone away. That could be painful especially for those of you who (like us) are rooting to see him with Rox.
Meanwhile, this episode also features Leanne and Ariel trying to move forward after what happened with Max’s death. Ariel’s young and she is going to say and do things that she doesn’t mean in the aftermath of what happened to her. Yet, we do still think that there are some pretty painful stories coming up for the two — Leanne probably can’t just block out what she said to her.

Just in case you need to be frustrated all over again with the cancellation of Code Black, know this: Not only is this show routinely one of the most-watched on Wednesday nights, but the June 13 episode (per Programming Insider) gained the second-highest amount of viewers that week in live+3 estimates. Basically, that means that there are a ton of viewers who watched the show after the fact in addition to when it first came on CBS.
This, in turn, makes the cancellation all the more frustrating and baffling.
