Code Black season 3 episode 12 is going to be the penultimate one of the series, provided of course some sort of last-minute revival. Based on some of the first details that are out there about what’s coming, this one is going to be emotional — there are more characters in danger and beyond that, Ariel may still be suffering from the aftereffects of losing Max.
We don’t want to build things up for too long before getting to some of the big scoop, so let’s go ahead and share the official Code Black season 3 episode 12 synopsis below:
“As Night Comes and I’m Breathing” – Willis continues to tend to Rox’s medical needs in San Diego while Leanne and Max’s father search for Ariel. Also, Noa and Mario realize their career choices will mean ending their relationship when Noa wants to accept a position in Philadelphia and Campbell offers Mario the attending position at Angels, on CODE BLACK, Wednesday, July 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This episode, at least based on much of the information we’re seeing right now, is almost certainly going to be tough — and we wouldn’t have it any other way so close to the need. We don’t want to see Rox die, mostly because we know that Willis has lost so much in his life already — he’s been mourning his late brother, and after coming to terms with what happened overseas, it now feels as though he’s having to mourn his father. He may still be alive, but the man effectively disowned him at the end of this past episode. There aren’t any signs that things are going to be getting easier for him in the near future.
As for Ariel running away, she may just be in the midst of a tailspin. She’s a troubled teen who, for most of her life, didn’t have much to rely on. She thought that she had a new life with Leanne and with a boyfriend in Max, only for her to now be struggling with him taken from well before his time.
