Poldark season 4 episode 3 video: Monk Adderley and other problems

Poldark season 4 episode 3

We’ve got a new Poldark season 4 episode 3 video now courtesy of the BBC and based on the footage below, there is a good bit that you can expect to see. (Warning: Spoilers ahead for US viewers.)

For starters, the preview teases the arrival of one Monk Adderley to the series. He is someone who is close to George Warleggan, but actually may have more in common with Ross Poldark personality-wise. He is the latest threat Ross is going to have to deal with and we imagine he will turn out to be a major thorn in his side. He’s a big roguish and isn’t altogether interested in following the rules every step of the way.

Beyond just Adderley, there are a few other notable events that are teased within this preview.

Rowella seducing Whitworth – What is she trying to do here? She’s already found a way to blackmail him once and may be finding a way to do that again. Personally, we’re all about anyone finding a way to screw over Ossie given that he certainly deserves every bit of it given his track record.

Ross and Demelza facing more conflict – We cannot say that we are altogether shocked about this, largely because of the fact that the two are living largely separate lives at the moment with Ross in London and his wife taking care of things back home. We do think, though, that there is a capability that they will figure this out. While the distance remains a problem, one of the things that they have worked out now is a greater understanding of both themselves as well as each other.

Dwight and Caroline’s baby – This is fantastic news, but unfortunately, we do have a sinking feeling that there is still bad news coming around the corner for the two.
