Poldark season 4: Harry Richardson, Ellise Chappell talk Drake, Morwenna
We’re two episodes into this season and, at least for the time being, there hasn’t been a whole lot of movement insofar as the Drake – Morwenna character. They still very much love each other, but we haven’t quite seen all that many opportunities in order to spend time with each other. Unfortunately, that may not change too much in the immediate future.
In the video below via This Morning, you can hear Ellise Chappell and Harry Richardson speak more about the two characters and the journeys that they’ve been on both in terms of this season and also the series as a whole, and we’ve got a perfectly good reason to think that there are some more twists and turns still to come in the future. As of right now, Morwenna is still with the awful Ossie Whitworth, but this is the sort of character who perpetually remains almost on a knife’s edge. All it may take is one disastrous move at almost any time for him to be exposed as the fraud he truly is. The moment that this ends up happening, some of the other characters may be able to help free her from this crisis. Drake, for course, will be there front and center.
If there’s one thing that Drake knows at the moment, it is patience after he has waited so long in order to be with Morwenna already. It’s rather hard to imagine that this is going to be the sort of thing that really changes all that much now that he is so far in.
