The Flash season 5: Danielle Nicolet promoted to series regular
According to a report from Deadline, you will see this character around in a full-time capacity moving forward. This move is hardly a surprise, given the fact that Cecile has become an increasingly important part of the series over time. She had a role all the way back on the first season, but really saw her role expand during season 3 when she and Joe West started to grow closer. The two had a baby together last season, and that is of course in addition to the temporary superpowers that she gained in the process. This was a very fun season for Cecile and we’re curious to see precisely what happens now. She’s presumably losing her powers, but in the process she and Joe are going to have their hands full with a new part of their family.
In general, we do think that family is going to be a huge part of season 5 — after all, how could it not when you think about the arrival of Barry and Iris’ future daughter Nora into the mix? While her precise role moving forward remains to be seen, she arrived in the finale with the announcement that she made some sort of mistake. With that, we imagine that the upcoming season if going to, at least in part, be about what happens for some of these characters as they unpack that while also tackling whatever villains could be turning up in the process.

Ultimately, we’re going to have a good bit of time in order to learn more about what’s coming on The Flash, especially when you remember that the fifth season is not going to be premiering on The CW until we get around to October.
