Supergirl season 3 episode 22 spoilers: An emotional farewell

Supergirl season 3 episode 13

While there may not bee too much information out there regarding Supergirl season 3 episode 22 just yet, we do know this: Things could get very emotional. We’re getting near the end of the season and with that in mind, we’re going to get a better understanding of just what the final stakes are and how dangerous it could be for not just Supergirl, but also all of Earth. Beyond that, though, there’s going to be something a little more personal and heartbreaking for J’onn — basically, we’re getting some more of the awesome material that we’ve seen David Harewood have for most of the season.

Want a little bit more news when it comes to what lies ahead in this episode, entitled “Make It Reign”? The Supergirl season 3 episode 22 synopsis below (via SpoilerTV) gives you a little more insight on that:

SUPERGIRL PREPARES FOR BATTLE – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) learns the true depth of Serena’s (guest star Anjali Jay) nefarious plans for Earth. Supergirl, Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Alura (guest star Erica Durance) must devise a plan to stop her before Serena gets to Earth. J’onn (David Harewood) prepares to say goodbye to his father (guest star Carl Lumby). Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Cindy Lichtman (#322). Original airdate 6/11/2018.

One of the things that is actually rather strange about this synopsis is that it actually makes no mention of Reign / Samantha at all despite her being mentioned in the title. Is that mostly just a way in which to mask what her true story is? That is something we’re thinking about for the time being. The good news here is that we should get a little more information regarding precisely what is happening come Monday when episode 3×21 airs.
