Latest Timeless deleted scene highlights Flynn’s time-travel troubles

Timeless season 2 episode 4

For those of you who have been craving a Timeless deleted scene featuring none other than Garcia Flynn, the folks over at the official writers room have delivered that for you today!

In the video below, you can see a clip that is all about Flynn, Rufus, and Lucy back in Salem for “The Salem Witch Hunt” — one where you learn a few different things of note about the team upon their immediate arrival. For starters, Flynn managed to find clothes that fit him without too much effort! Given that he’s so tall, that is typically not too much of an easy task. Unfortunately, the bad news for him (and everyone else on the time team, for that matter) is that the clothing of this era has a tendency to smell. It’s not exactly like people at the time of the Salem Witch Trials spent a long stretch of time in the bath!

This is a fun little scene that ultimately was cut for a combination of the show only having so much time in the hour and to preserve what was largely a serious tone for this episode. Scenes often get cut for a number of different reasons, but the bummer with this one is that there was a runner this season of people getting sick after a trip in the Lifeboat — remember, this happened to Connor Mason a little bit later in the season!

These sneak peeks are designed to help keep the conversation going in order to ensure that Timeless gets renewed by NBC — we hope that these do keep you engaged and excited! There is, after all, still a chance at a season 3 provided that everyone continues to fight. You have to love the writers for putting their all into making sure that people out there watch the show.
