Could Supergirl season 4 feature Emily Bett Rickards appearance? She’s game for it

Emily Bett Rickards

For anyone who wants to see Emily Bett Rickards on another show within the Arrowverse, she’s officially made her pick as to where she wants to be. The answer should be pretty obvious since … well, it’s in the title.

The idea of getting Felicity Smoak on Supergirl for an episode or two makes a whole lot of sense and would also be really fun. In some ways, Felicity crosses over better than other Arrow characters just because she already has that lightness about her character — she’s funny, optimistic, and nerdy in a way that forges an instant connection with the likes of Barry and Cisco. We think that this would also be there with Kara and Winn. It hasn’t been explored enough on the screen just yet, but we can imagine some really fun scenes happening. Think in terms of Felicity teaming up with Winn to defeat a master hacker, or finding some new ways to help Supergirl while she’s out in the field. Also, wouldn’t a scene or two between Felicity and Lena be rather fun? Supergirl has gotten somewhat of the short end of the stick when it comes to crossovers — we understand that it’s difficult given that it’s in a separate part of the multiverse, but we still like to believe that there are some fun ways for it to happen.

Speaking in a recent interview on BUILD Series, Emily shared some of her own thoughts regarding why she wants to see this happen:

“I think, yeah, I think that that is definitely a possibility I don’t see why it wouldn’t [happen] … We’ve sort of broken all the rules that sort of make it not a possibility, so I feel like we should do that … I think that it would be my preferred show to cross over to in general because it’s Supergirl.”

As for whether or not there are any plans, it doesn’t seem like it just yet. For now, we’re mostly curious how Batwoman and Gotham fit into the big crossover coming later this year given that the character has never been mentioned on the shows before. What world is she from? That’s one question we want an answer to!
