Blindspot season 4 spoilers: Prepare for different sort of tattoo clues

Blindspot season 3

Blindspot season 4 may not be airing on NBC until we get around to the fall, but we like to think that it’s never too early for discussion!

One of the big discussion points today is not only that iconic tattoos that are very much woven into the fabric of this show, but also one other key part of the equation: The type of tattoo we’re talking about. We had regular tattoos, and then we had the glowing ones. As it turns out there, may also be some glowing ones that didn’t actually end up making it on Jane’s body.

Watching the story of these tattoos play out, thanks in part to Roman’s actions prior to his death, should prove interesting. In speaking on the subject of some of these tattoos a little bit further to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Martin Gero had the following to say on some of what we can expect to see:

“There are tattoos that he left off of her, just like the first generation of the tattoos, there were some that were omitted that we found later … And then there are tattoos that are clues that will help us solve tattoos that are already on her body.”

If the FBI team was just looking into some of these tattoos, it’s possible that the story would be a little bit simpler for them. As it is, though, all signs point to some serious problems coming up around every corner. How else would you describe what’s coming now with Jane now thinking she is Remi, and with that, having no real knowledge of any of the good stuff that she’s done? It almost goes without saying just how complicated things are about to become.
