Suits season 8 premiere date official over at USA
According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, the series starring Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, and Rick Hoffman is going to be premiering come Wednesday, July 18 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time on USA. This new season of course is going to have many different changes at the heart of it, with the biggest one being the absence of Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross) alongside Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane). These two were an enormous part of the series and it seems like more than an understatement to say that their loss is going to be clearly felt. These are two performers who cannot be easily replaced and we sincerely doubt that they will. They’ll leave a void and the show will likely struggle to figure out how to fill for quite some time.
What we know that Aaron Korsh and the show’s writers are going to be trying to do moving into the new season is populate the world with more of some familiar faces you already love to make up for it. Take, for example, Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull) and Alex Williams (Dule Hill) having larger roles than they have in the past. Beyond that, we’ve also got an opportunity coming up to see Katherine Heigl coming on board as Samantha Wheeler — someone who could be rather formidable when it comes to Specter Litt and their manner of doing things. There will likely be a batch of episodes this summer followed by one in the winter / early spring, as this is the way that USA often loves to do things.
