Lucifer bonus episode photos: Some silliness and Ella’s mystery

Lucifer bonus episodeAs we continue to push forward in the efforts to get Lucifer a new home, let’s continue to share some of the latest photos from the two bonus episodes that are airing on Fox Monday night.

First, we’ve got the one above of Lucifer at what seems to be Six Flags Magic Mountain — or at least a representation of it. We’ve never been to Magic Mountain which probably makes us a terrible resident of the Greater Los Angeles area, but we used to have a season pass for the one in Texas and that has to count for something. We just think that there’s something super-fun about the idea of putting Lucifer at a place where other people are acting out on their impulses to be wild and have a good time — it’s a really different sort of environment than where he typically finds himself during some of his cases.

Side note: Lucifer episodes tend to generate some of the best promotional photos out there given that there are so many incredible things that happen every single week.

As a reminder, the two episodes airing are “Boo Normal” and “Once Upon a Time” — Fox didn’t specifically assign some of these photos to a give episode so we’ll just have to use our imagination.

For this one featuring Ella, it feels likely that it’s coming to us via “Boo Normal.” This episode is meant to be a good showcase for Aimee Garcia as we meet her “imaginary friend” (Charlyne Yi), who may not actually be that at all. Instead, said friend may be a ghost! This is going to be a fun one just because Ella is the sort of character who generates such enthusiasm about almost everything. She almost certainly will here, as well, even if the motives of said maybe-ghost are not altogether clear.

Finally, here is a great Deckerstar photo that was taken from a pretty historic Los Angels locale in the Griffith Observatory — which we have actually been to and it’s awesome. Definitely a place anyone should visit if you’re in the city, though it feels like the odds are low you’re going to randomly see Tom Ellis or Lauren German there.
