Shadowhunters season 3 episode 11 return date set at Freeform
Update: Unfortunately, things have changed since writing this story. The series has now been canceled, and will not premiere its final episodes until 2019.
For everyone out there eager for a Shadowhunters season 3 episode 11 return date, you can commence your celebrations accordingly.
In a new post on Twitter, show executive producer Todd Slavkin confirms that the series is going to be coming back on Freeform come August 14. That is a Tuesday, which could mean that the show is in the same timeslot that it was in through most of the spring.
Personally, this particular premiere date is exciting since it ensures that Shadowhunters isn’t forced to air against primetime competition for the entirety of its run. Networks will kick off their formal fall season most likely in late September, and what that hopefully means is that we are going to have a chance to see Shadowhunters have a little bit of time to get its viewers even more hooked.
Hopefully, at some point before this return date we’re also going to see a season 4 renewal, given that this is the thing that will probably be our main source of anxiety more so than anything else. These remaining ten episodes are a little bit more set in stone so when it comes to them, at least we don’t have any sort of significant reason to worry … except for the fates of some of the characters. It’s pretty clear moving into the second half of the season that Clary’s fate is in jeopardy and while Lilith may seem like she is out of the picture at the moment, she’s not exactly someone who can be killed via traditional means. All you can really do is contain her and/or hope for the best.
Meanwhile, we’re looking forward to a great ten episodes for Malec, for seeing more about how Simon recovers from his devastating family situation, and to also learn more about some of the newer characters we’re still getting a chance to meet.
