Blindspot season 3 finale reaction: Who died?
In the end, we’re seeing the departure of yet another Luke Mitchell character from a TV show as Roman died — first Agents of SHIELD and now this. It was painful to see this happen but, in the end, it’s a little bit of a necessary evil. Here’s what executive producer Martin Gero had to say on that subject to TVLine:
“Sadly, we always knew that Roman had to die at the end of this season … As the mastermind of these new tattoos, his allegiance to one side or the other was just too powerful.”
The good news here is that per Gero, Mitchell’s time on the show may not be completely done:
“We love Luke Mitchell and are as gutted as you are that the character had to die … But hopefully this isn’t the last you’ve seen of [him] on Blindspot.”
So what else is coming on Blindspot season 4? Think in terms of this: Trouble. Basically, Jane has been the victim of yet another memory wipe and now, she’s Remi — a ruthless, pretty terrible person who hates the FBI. This is going to be BIG trouble moving into the new season, though we’re sure that for Jaimie Alexander this is going to be a dream since it gives her an opportunity to take on some totally new material. This is a show that really does like to make every season its own animal and we think that this is really yet another perfect example of that very thing.
Blindspot season 4 is going to premiere a little bit later this year on NBC. For now, we suggest that you head over to the link here to see more in the way of premiere date speculation.
