We know that this is the time of the year in which many networks are officially announcing their renewals/cancellations for a wide array of shows, but if you are wondering where in the heck some further details are regarding Ransom the answer is simple: Because this is a Canadian show, the rules are a little bit different and there really is no timeline as to when exactly such a decision could be made. The past few weeks the series has been fairly steady at around a 0.3 rating, which is far from a bad number given that A) this is a show airing on Saturday nights and B) there is almost zero promotion out there for the series. This all really comes down to whether or not Global in Canada wants to keep the show going, and beyond that if CBS wants to keep having some original programming airing on Saturday nights.
