Wynonna Earp season 3 filming officially wrapped
In a new post on Instagram, series star Melanie Scrofano confirmed this news earlier this week that filming has officially wrapped. Production this year in Calgary was around four months, give or take, so the producers were pretty economical in how they managed to get a lot of fantastic footage into a certain period of time. Of course, the next order of business now is crafting the perfect trailer and fantastic promotional strategy for the new season, which we think may have more exposure than almost any one that came before it.
We feel like the past 12 months or so have really been a banner period when it comes to Wynonna Earp, at least in terms of raising overall exposure for the show as a whole. There are now significantly more people discussing and talking about the series than ever before — it’s the sort of series that viewers discover and once they are officially on board with it, they’re adopted by one of the best fan followings out there.
The only thing that could make all of this news so much better would be an official renewal for season 4, but admittedly, we’re probably being a little too greedy to ask for that right now. After all, remember here that there are a few more boxes that need to be checked when it comes to the show. For starters, we aren’t at the premiere date yet! We imagine that Syfy will let at least a few episodes air before coming up with a firm decision.
