Unfortunately, we are sad to report that you are going to have to wait a while for either one of them to come on the air — think in terms of Friday, July 20. Wynonna Earp is airing an hour earlier than usual at 9:00 p.m. Eastern; meanwhile, Killjoys will be coming on at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. Why the change? With Dark Matter (unfortunately) canceled there needed to be a shake-up, and this move may be to help further boost Wynonna Earp. While this may not be the network’s highest-rated show, it has found itself a rather enormous audience on social media and drives more traffic to the platform via word of mouth than almost other show. It’s fan following is more devoted than almost any other one out there on TV.
For those want to get some more news now on Wynonna Earp season 3, just be sure to check out the attached synopsis:
“Wynonna and her team of outmatched outsiders return to face monsters, revenants and their biggest fears as they fight to take down the demon who cursed the Earp family before he destroys the Ghost River Triangle — and the world.”
This season is going to feature Reign alum Megan Follows as Wynonna’s mother, and to go along with that there will be some Lost Girl alums turning up in the forms of Anna Silk and Zoie Palmer.
While we know for Killjoys that the fifth season is going to be its last, the future of Wynonna Earp is a little more unclear. We’re hoping that the series has a few more years to go, but that’s going to be based almost entirely on the viewership and fan support. Basically, if you love the series, be sure to keep watching it!
