NCIS: New Orleans season 4 finale spoilers: Pride vs. a Grand Jury

NCIS: New Orleans season 4 finale

What is coming up on the NCIS: New Orleans season 4 finale next week? Let’s just say that the biggest test for Dwayne Pride is coming up next. In “Checkmate, Part 1” and “Checkmate, Part II,” you are going to get a chance to see Pride face off against one of his most notable opponents yet: The government. To be specific, a grand jury. The investigations into him are about to spiral out in some interesting, shocking ways, and those could in turn carry through into whatever we end up seeing over the course of the final episodes this season.

Of course, there’s a part of us that is super-excited to see everything that is coming given that an upcoming grand jury indictment is going to enable us to have a chance to see many different familiar faces stop by for another appearance. It’s a non-traditional team to take on what is at its core a non-traditional case. Beyond that, though, we are also going to have a chance to see a very different sort of showdown take place in the final case of the season. Did we mention that there’s going to be a chance to see Lou Diamond Phillips as a guest star? The fun there is that he’s playing yet another character within the extended NCIS universe after appearing not too long ago on Hawaii Five-0.

For some more news when it comes to what lies ahead, just be sure to check out the attached synopsis:

“Checkmate, Part I” and “Checkmate, Part II” – Pride assembles an off-the-books team with hacker Elvis Bertrand (Tom Arnold), retired Green Beret Sydney Halliday (Riann Steele) journalist Oliver Crane (Mark Gessner) and attorney Elliott Newman (John Cothran, Jr.), to search for a loophole when he faces a grand jury indictment for abuse of power. Also, Pride and the team uncover a sinister plot during the New Orleans Tricentennial Fleet Week celebration, on back-to-back episodes of the fourth season finale of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, May 15 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Lou Diamond Phillips guest stars as Deputy Chief Gossett.
