The Resident episode 14 (finale) spoilers: Conrad and Nic’s last stand
At this point, it should feel very much clear precisely what is at stake and it stems so far beyond just the future of the hospital: It also has very much to do with the future of some of your favorite characters. Conrad Hawkins and Nic Nevin have done almost everything that they can in order to take down Lane Hunter once and for all; yet, nothing has worked completely in the way in which they would want. Moving into the finale they have one more move that they can play — it’s big and it’s desperate, but the end result of it could be the sort of thing that is talked about for quite some time coming up.
Below, The Resident episode 14 synopsis offers up some additional news and insight right now on the subject of what lies ahead:
In a final and drastic attempt to save Nic from Lane’s acts of sabotage, Conrad must call in a favor from the one person he promised he never would. Meanwhile, Mina’s partnership with The Raptor (guest star Malcolm-Jamal Warner) takes on new colors when Micah (guest star Patrick Walke) is rushed back to Chastain with major heart complications and Dr. Bell’s alliance with Lane is put to the ultimate test when one of her patients is readmitted to the hospital in the all-new “Total Eclipse of the Heart” season finale episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, May 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (RES-114) (TV-14 D, L, S, V)
Who could this one person be? Knowing Conrad, we would imagine that his father is a pretty interesting candidate, mostly because of the fact that he has a lot of power and we’ve already seen to date him be someone Conrad shows a lot of resistance towards.
One way or another, we’re going to be dealing with a pretty dramatic end to this season and we’re certainly excited to see what happens.
