Chicago Med season 3 episode 19 video: Rhodes in hero mode

What is coming up on Chicago Med season 3 episode 19? We’re gearing up for an episode coming up that could feature Dr. Connor Rhodes taking one of the biggest risks that he has in his profession … and we certainly think that it is one that could produce some significant blowback in the event that things don’t go as expected.

Here is the choice that Connor is forced to look at early on within this episode: Try to save either a mother of a patient or their child. This is a difficult choice for any doctor to make — the mother may have her preferences, but there may also be some other external factors that need to be taking into consideration here.

Of course, if we’ve come to learn something about Dr. Rhodes over the years it’s that he has a very high opinion of many of his medical abilities. With that in mind, we cannot say that it is much of a shock that he would think himself capable of saving both lives. With that in mind, he is going to do what he can in order to check off both boxes. He’s putting himself on the line given that if he fails, both parties could end up dying. We don’t think that we have to say why that’s a bad thing. He could end up losing his job or worse depending on how his operation goes.

This episode of Chicago Med is entitled “Crisis of Confidence” and after thinking about that, it’s hard not to imagine that this, in some way, could be tied to what is going on with Connor’s character. Maybe he is shaken as a result of what he goes through in here and starts to struggle in the aftermath.
