Chicago Med season 3 episode 19 preview: Did Dr. Choi’s sister steal pain-killers?

Chicago Med season 3 episode 19

Chicago Med season 3 episode 19 is going to bring the show back to what is its typical formula, and that is giving you a wide array of different stories to check out over the course of the week. With that being said, though, there is going to be a significant carry-over that stems from what happened at the hospital during the mass shooting. Ethan Choi’s sister served a volunteer over the course of the episode and at the time, that seemed like a really wonderful thing that she was doing for others.

Yet, was there an ulterior motive behind some of her actions? That’s something that April is going to wonder after there are some opioid pain killers that end up missing at the hospital. April knows about the party that she threw at Ethan’s apartment when he was away, just as she is also aware of the fact that she has a history of addiction. We’re possibly leading up to a big confrontation here — if it turns out that April is wrong, that could cause some big problems for Ethan, his sister, and pretty much every relationship at the center of the story.

Below, the Chicago Med season 3 episode 19 synopsis below offers up a little bit more insight when it comes to what’s next:

05/08/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : Dr. Manning rushes to save a young boy who has a life-threatening case of the flu. After discovering that opioid pain killers were stolen during last week’s mass casualty, April believes Dr. Choi’s sister took them. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker disagree over the best treatment for a cardiac patient who is 21 weeks pregnant.

Whatever happens here is going to build up for the finale airing later this month, which is going to feature many long-running stories including the relationship between Will and Natalie and whatever is going on with Sarah Reese’s father.
