Dynasty finale spoilers: Cristal vs. Alexis, a fire, and more

Dynasty finale

The Dynasty finale is airing on The CW come Friday night, and based on some preliminary details it doesn’t feel like a big enough statement to call what lies ahead chaotic. There is going to be a little bit of romance, but at the same time you’re also going to be seeing a fire, fighting, chaos, and all sorts of other good stuff. If you love some signature Dynasty drama, this is going to be an episode that you want to watch or DVR. We’re already suspecting that it’s going to be crazy and there’s a pretty good chance that there will be a cliffhanger at the very end of it. That’s just the sort of show that this is!

Below, the Dynasty finale synopsis offers up a little bit more news on the subject of what lies ahead:

WEDDED BLISS TURNS INTO TRAGEDY – As Alexis (guest star Nicollette Sheridan) loses control of her plan with the Colbys, Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) challenges Blake (Grant Show) for control of the family’s company only to learn she’s not the only one with a claim to the throne. Sammy Jo (Rafael de la Fuente) and Steven (James Mackay) prepare to tie the knot – but an unexpected guest causes all hell to break loose. Sallie Patrick and Libby Wells wrote the episode, directed by Michael Allowitz (#122). Original airdate 5/11/2018.

What we’re really interested in seeing with the Dynasty finale is whether or not this is the sort of thing that gets more people discussing the show moving into the off-season. It was somewhat of a surprise renewal a little bit earlier this season; yet, by the same token this is a sign that clearly, someone working at the network clearly believes in the series and what it brings to the table.

Of course, once there is some more news when it comes to the series we’ll offer it up here.

What do you think is going to be coming on the Dynasty finale, and do you think we’re going to get one of the biggest cliffhangers we’ve seen on the show to date? Share right now in the comments!
