Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 24 (finale) details as cryptic as they come
While you do get an official synopsis for this episode (entitled “All of Me”) below, it doesn’t actually say much of anything other than just give you a generic sense of the show itself:
Meredith Grey and the team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial are faced with life-or-death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.
Probably the most interesting part of the finale details that are out there is the guest cast, which makes it clear that there will be another appearance from Matthew Taylor on the series. April went through a harrowing time earlier this season with his new wife and the crisis of faith that followed, but we could be getting closer now to a time where she is starting to get herself back together. Given that this episode is going to mark her final one on the ABC series we’re certainly curious if her exit is going to be linked to him in some capacity. There are also plenty of rumors out there suggesting that April could be in some serious danger; there is a doctor who will be going through a major crisis in the penultimate episode of the season, which is also when Geena Davis will return as her character makes an interesting offer to Arizona. (Remember that Jessica Capshaw is also leaving during the finale.)
Behind the scenes, the Grey’s Anatomy finale is being written by executive producer Krista Vernoff; meanwhile, frequent director / fellow executive producer / Catherine Avery actress Debbie Allen serves as the director.
